Baby Led Weaning
Feeding Your Baby with Confidence and Calm
When it comes to starting your baby on solids, one of the most common questions I get asked is: “Should I try baby led weaning?” And the truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer.
As a Registered Nutritionist and mum to two little ones, Raffy and Ada, I’ve been through the weaning journey myself, with all its mess, magic, and mealtime mayhem! What I’ve found (both professionally and personally) is that a flexible approach often works best. Some babies thrive with baby led weaning, where they feed themselves from the very beginning. Others might benefit from a mix of finger foods and spoon-fed meals and that’s completely okay too.
I don’t believe in strict rules or one “right” way. Instead, I support parents to follow their baby’s lead, while also feeling confident in offering safe, nutritious foods in a way that suits the whole family.
Whether you’re just beginning to think about weaning or you’re already in the thick of it, I’m here to help make the process less stressful and more enjoyable.
