A healthy sandwich is never hard to prepare but we have provided a healthy tuna mayo sandwich with a twist which can be prepared easily and in minutes.
Serves 2-4 people
Ingredients:
- 1 tin of tuna in spring water
- 2 dessert spoons of natural or plain yoghurt
- 2 teaspoons of sweetcorn
- 2 wholemeal pitta breads
Instructions:
- Sprinkle the pittas with a little water and put them in the oven or microwave for a few minutes/seconds to warm up
- Drain the tin of tuna and add the contents to a bowl. Mix in the yoghurt and sweetcorn and stir well (add extra yoghurt or sweetcorn if desired)
- Open out the pitta pockets by cutting along the edge and fill with your tuna mixture.
- Eat and enjoy your healthy snack 🙂
