Disclaimer: I work with Stokke and am running workshops with them as part of a paid partnership with the brand.
Weaning is probably my favourite topic in the world. Sad but true. I love answering questions on it, writing about it and speaking about it every day.
I also love giving parents the tools and the confidence to know HOW and WHAT and WHEN to feed their babies when they very first start introducing solid foods.
I actually started my career working in the NHS running weaning workshops to parents every week. I loved doing this and after trying multiple other jobs I always came back to this field. Spreading messages about the importance of child health and helping parent’s get their little one off to a good start is such a no-brainer for me.
Spreading the message
I spend a lot of time answering parent’s questions on social media and I love how much my work with Wean in 15 has allowed some of my messages about feeding babies to travel.
Eventually I’d love to run weaning workshops all over the country so that any new parents can get easy access to all the information they need to know at this sometimes daunting and confusing time. I’m so pleased and so excited to be working in partnership with Stokke, as this has allowed me to already run some personal, detailed and practical Weaning Workshops to parents in London.
So far we have delivered three workshops in central London, all which sold out within a few minutes of being live, but we thought it was time to branch out and go to some of the areas in the UK where parents might not always get the opportunity to attend sessions such as these.
As a result of this (as well as lots of feedback from you guys), we’ve decided to take the workshop on the road in the UK.
Therefore Stokke have decided to run a Tripp Trapp Tour, where we will be delivering multiple Weaning Workshops over a week in:
We’re also making these workshops bigger and bolder than ever. Teaming up with brands such as Babease, Totter and Tumble as well as local influencers to help bring the workshops to life & to pack a fantastic goodie bag too!
The workshops will be bigger than usual (but still small enough for intimate sessions) and we will be running two in each venue/location.
Weaning Workshop Chat
I’ll be discussing and going over the following during the tour
- Veg Led Weaning
- Appropriate finger foods VS Choking risk foods
- Your baby’s texture journey
- Introducing allergens to baby
- Importance of the mealtime environment
AND doing a Q and A for every session.
I seriously can’t wait. If you know of anyone interested or you’re interested yourself, get yourself a ticket at the following link before they all sell out!
