Top Tips for Healthy Toddlers Workshop in Clapham, London 31/08/2016For those of you who read my blog regularly, you’ll know that I’m a huge advocate for the importance of Child Nutrition. Getting nutrition right from word go has been shown to impact a child’s food preferences throughout their life as well as their health and risk of diseases as they get older. Most parents want to make the most out of the foods they feed their children but sometimes just don’t know which direction to turn. There is A LOT of confusing nutrition advice out there…
To support mums in making the best decisions with their child’s health, Ad Virtus UK have asked me to deliver a Child Nutrition workshop for parents in Clapham, London. The workshop will be on Wednesday 31st August and will run from 19:30-20:45pm.
The workshop will be around an hour in length and will include a talk from me on “Top Tips for Healthy Toddlers” which will cover; why nutrition matters for children, top tips for feeding toddlers healthy foods, information on what a ‘Healthy Balanced Diet’ really is for kids and I’ll also be busting some of the myths around which foods to offer and which foods to avoid.
Alongside this there will be a Question and Answer session with me, where you can get all your child nutrition questions answered on the spot. We’ll also be giving out recipe cards and free goodie bags to participants, which contain lots of healthy children’s food options.
For more information and also to sign up for the event you can visit the Eventbrite website at the following link: http://childnutrition.eventbrite.co.uk
